Ecett-Networks Asbl opts for a strict privacy policy. The protection of your privacy is of utmost importance to our institution. This privacy policy describes what measures are in place to protect your personal data as beneficiaries, partners, suppliers and what rights you have in using our services.

For the purposes of this policy, the following are considered as services: registration on the E-learning platform, subscription to our newsletter (which is on request), our website, Facebook. Please note that the services offered by the online platform ( are subject to specific privacy policies.

This privacy policy complies with the new European legislation GDPR (EU 2016/679) on the processing and protection of personal data and applies to all personal data obtained by Ecett-Networks Asbl.

Ecett-Networks Asbl is not responsible for the privacy policies of other sites and sources, respects the privacy of all users of its site and its services and ensures that the personal information you provide is treated confidentially.


For the use of our services, we do not collect or use information for purposes other than those described in this Privacy Policy unless we have obtained your prior consent. Your personal data are in no way used for commercial purposes.

Who we share your data with

Ecett-Networks Asbl never transmits personal data to other parties with whom we have not concluded a treatment agreement. If this should be the case, the necessary arrangements will be made with these parties to ensure the security of your personal data.

Ecett-Networks Asbl does not share the information you provide to third parties unless it is legally required and permitted. In case of partnership between Ecett-Networks Asbl and other institutions, aimed at developing training opportunities for specific target groups, some data related to participants from those organizations may be shared in order to provide a better assistance to trainees.

How long we retain your data

Ecett-Networks Asbl keeps personal data as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was provided to us or required by law. The personal data will be kept in our database for a period of 5 years after which the same update will be done.

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

What rights you have over your data

As provided by the law on the protection of privacy, you have the right to modify, correct, and delete your data for free. Just contact us in writing us. Please see our contact information below.

For any correction or deletion, and, in order to allow us to verify your identity, we ask you to send a copy of your identity card by making your identity card photo invisible, your national registry number invisible and mentioning that it is a copy. You will also find at the bottom of each email the possibility of modifying your details or unsubscribing from the Newsletter and any other information.

If you have a complaint about the processing of your personal data, we ask you to contact us directly.
You also have the right to file a complaint with the Privacy Protection Authority, an independent supervisory body that ensures that personal data are used and securely secured, and that your future privacy is also protected by the guarantee of the protection of the private life.
